BLOOM is where movement, music and meaningful experiences come together.

Created by Oli Liu, founder of Pilates Lab, DJ and curator of intimate experiences in Lisbon.

Move — reconnect with your body
Listen — hear yourself
Create — craft beauty
Connect — share the moment

BLOOM is a series of intimate experiences created around movement, beauty, creativity and meaningful connection.
Each edition takes place in a carefully chosen space and explores a different theme through
a combination of body practices, rituals, art, conversations, music and sensory experiences.

There is no fixed formula for BLOOM.
The concept evolves with every edition, while the core remains the same: creating a space where people
can slow down, reconnect with themselves and each other, and experience something beautiful together.

BLOOM is intentionally intimate.
Not a festival. Not a wellness retreat. Not just a workshop. A curated experience where different worlds meet.

BLOOM 2.0

For our second chapter, BLOOM moves into TEJÁ House and takes inspiration from Japan. A slower, more tactile edition built around one simple idea: What if instead of hide our imperfect parts we accept and reveal them?
Inspired by the philosophy of Kintsugi, we explore imperfection not as something to repair back into perfection, but as something to acknowledge, highlight and transform. Broken becomes part of the story. A scar becomes a detail.
An imperfection becomes character. Through movement, matcha, ceramics, conversation and sound, this BLOOM is an invitation to look at ourselves with a little less correction and a little more curiosity.

Perfectly imperfect.

LOCATION: TEJA HOUSE

A creative house by the river, in the heart of Cais do Sodré. TEJÁ is a cultural and creative space where art, movement, music, food and meaningful connection naturally come together. Set right by the Tejo, the house brings together different rooms, each designed for a different kind of experience, from exhibitions and tea rituals to movement practices, workshops, dinners and intimate gatherings.

THE EXPERIENCE

Ground & Move

16:00–17:30

BODY FLOW + SOUND HEALING

We begin with a Japanese-inspired body practice combining Pilates, breathwork, balance and mindful movement. Less about performance. More about presence. The practice gradually turns inward, creating space to slow down, focus and reconnect with the body. We close with sound healing, allowing the body to settle before moving into the next part of the experience.

Explore & Taste

17:30–18:00

MATCHA TASTING

Together with Alina Bazar, we’ll try three different matchas, but you’ll only find out which ones after the tasting. We’ll taste, compare and guess: flavour, texture, character and quality. Then we’ll break down what actually makes a good matcha different from a bad one, whether you can trust the colour, what “ceremonial grade” really means, and what to look for when choosing matcha.
There’ll be a blind tasting, a little game, a bit of Japan and lots of matcha.

Create & Bloom

18:00–20:00

KINTSUGI WORKSHOP

A two-hour hands-on experience inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken ceramics are repaired with gold rather than hidden away. You’ll work with broken ceramic pieces, learning how to carefully repair their cracks and transform them into something new. The break stays visible. The golden lines become part of the story. Nothing is erased or made perfect again. Instead, the object becomes something entirely different, with its imperfections turned into the most beautiful part of it.

Open & Reflective

18:00–20:00

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT: HAIKU SESSION

During the Kintsugi workshop, we’ll open a reflective conversation about our relationship with imperfection. Why do we spend so much energy hiding the parts of ourselves we consider flawed? What happens when we stop trying to fix them? Inspired by Ikigai, we’ll explore what makes life feel truly ours, and then turn our reflections into a personal Haiku: three simple lines capturing a feeling, thought or moment from the evening.

Chill & Preparetion

20:00–20:30

A little pause to come back to yourself, grab something to eat, pour yourself a drink and get ready for the last part of the evening. Take your time, connect with the others and let the energy slowly shift from wellness to celebration.

Connect & Celebrate

20:30–22:00+

BLOOM AFTER DARK

PARTY! The structured experience slowly dissolves into music and dance. No more schedule. Just people, music and the night unfolding naturally at TEJÁ.

Philosophy.

We are not here to become someone else.

We create the conditions for what already exists within us to naturally bloom.

Each part of the experience becomes the water, sunlight, and soil that nurture this bloom.

Dress code
:

JAPAN INSPIRED

Come in comfortable sportswear for the Pilates session.
Later, you’ll have time to change into your look for kintsugi, matcha and the party.
The dress code is inspired by Japanese aesthetics, not a costume party. You don’t need a full Japanese-inspired outfit.
A few details are more than enough: a kimono-style layer, wrap silhouette, obi-inspired belt, wide trousers,
minimalist accessories or an asymmetrical element.
For hair, think effortless and sculptural: a sleek bun, low ponytail, simple hair sticks, loose strands
framing the face, or a slightly undone updo.
Think subtle references, modern silhouettes and your own interpretation of Japan.

BLOOM 2.0 - PERFECTLY IMPERFECT.
A celebration of the things we usually try to hide.
The cracks.
 The asymmetry.
 The unfinished parts.
Because maybe perfection was never the point.

Everything blooms when it’s rooted.

Everything blooms when it’s rooted.

Bloomers.
