My name is Olha Liudovyk, I am a 'certified' Pilates and stretching trainer.

I moved to Lisbon from Kyiv in March 2026. In the past, I was a theatre actress and dancer, so I have integrated many interesting practices and approaches from acting and dance into my Pilates program.

I teach mat Pilates combined with stretching, callanetics, body plasticity and barre. Classes take place to music sets (I’m also a DJ) — with different vibes and dynamics. Each session lasts one hour and includes a warm-up, main part, cool-down and stretching.

The format of Pilates is a continuous flow, where each exercise transitions into the next. The philosophy of Pilates is the art of control and concentration in every movement. Nothing is done mindlessly. Pilates may look slow, but it is far from easy — expect it to be effective. Some sessions are more dynamic and strength-focused, others are calmer with a focus on stretching, flexibility and balance.

My Pilates is suitable for all levels — both beginners and those with experience. Each exercise has several modifications, so we can always adapt it based on your needs, injuries or limitations. If you already have experience — you won’t be bored. We will increase intensity and complexity when needed. The main goal of every session is the well-being of the body — both physical and mental.

More about the benefits of Pilates.

Pilates strengthens and gently stretches muscles at the same time. This is why the body becomes strong, flexible and toned, with naturally beautiful posture.

Pilates is more than just physical exercise. It develops awareness — you begin to feel your body, control every movement and understand how muscles work.

Regular practice helps boost metabolism, reduce stress and support the immune system. It aligns the body from within and improves movement quality.

After just a few sessions, you may feel taller — more space in the body, more confidence in movement, more calmness inside. Most importantly, after Pilates you feel energized, not exhausted — focused, present and connected with yourself.

Gym training often focuses on isolated muscle movements. It builds strength, but can create tension if there is no balance. Pilates works differently — the whole body is engaged, from deep stabilizing muscles to larger muscle groups.

Muscles are not only contracted but also lengthened, creating a feeling of lightness, control and balance.
Pilates is not about “more muscles”, but about a strong, flexible and balanced body.
